I'm passionate about helping people to resolve their problems and achieve their goals. This is therapy not simply to understand yourself, manage your emotions or control your behaviour but, rather, to overcome therapeutic problems permanently by identifying the biographical origins and 'relearning' the experience.

The main approach used, Relearning Experience Process, is a brief, solution-focused therapy requiring only a few consultations to achieve complete resolution. I have over 25 years experience helping people overcome OCD, PTSD, childhood abuse, depression, social anxiety, lack of confidence or assertiveness and need for approval.

The main modality I use is REP, which identifies and resolves the origins of problems. I also use EMDR for trauma (PTSD), energy kinesiology, TAT, NLP and hypnosis. Most people receive complete resolution of their problem within five sessions, although some people need longer. I also love helping couples to communicate wihout defensiveness, re-establish connection and resolve their resentments - uniquely achieved with REP.

I have been involved in education and emotional health for well over 30 years. I have two grown up sons and two growing daughters. I have worked in Tamil Nadu, with young people in South African townships, and with refugees in BIOT and Rwanda. I have a passion for diversity and enjoy working with people of any background, race, gender and orientation.

Qualifications include MSc (Psychology); MA; PGCE. I have a background in teaching. I am author of The Therapist Within you (2007) and Relearning Therapy (2023).
